Oo, actual AT news!

From the discussions at Yaktribe, I gather the main impression is that the new Necromunda rules weren't really written to be split up like this: it's more like the ruleset has been hacked up into sections to make different books and thus edited poorly. Alas, I suspect that the rules designers had little choice in the matter with the pressures of deadlines and marketing. It seems like they would have done better to make the box more stand-alone with the pre-built teams and then put all the campaign material into the first Gang War book (which could possibly have been the only one, with extra material released in cheaper avenues...).
In a way, I think many people are annoyed because the Gang War books seem more like 'buy a whole new rulebook' than 'the next installment of a series'. I do agree that it would have been good to get more factions out on launch, but it is understandable that the rules-model duality of GW encourages rule releases only when models are out—if they had managed the split between Gang Wars and the box set book better, they could easily have had two cults in the first Gang Wars with existing miniatures.
What does all this have to do with titans, one may ask?

We're fortunate that titans have fewer factions, and we're used to identical titans shooting each other up, so most of these problems go away!
