I've repainted my long-suffering Stormhammer tank again. Last time, I hope. This old tub was green, then black and grey, and now:

Anbother pic of the Stormhammer, my sole example (Primarch will have 46 at least). Mine (being unique in my 3rd army) has been promoted to a tank commander's personal mount.

Indeed! I really like the relatively small gauge of the barrels. I have usually just painted the muzzles on my Stormhammmers with blackpaint but this liks much better. The small muzzle really gives the impression of a tremendously powerfull gun (almost classic smoothbore cannon like) which fits the tank nicely. *wandering off to fetch his Dremel*
Great work.
Cheers!

Cheers! | I agree, the drilled out guns add something to the overall look.
Nice.

Hi all, I REALLY do need a good camera, and pointing out that the results of my gun-drilling can be seen is not helping, people! Seriously, I'm no superdetailer, but I've got this thing about gun barrels.. I usually use GWs pin vise with their drils (supplemented by a few more) - I find it easier to do small jobs by hand. My old Dremel-equivalent has a broken chuck, and I can't find a replacement for it; but seeing these tools are not too expensive I might get a new one: driling large barrels (e.g. Cyclops-size) with a pin-vise doesn't work too well.
