More additions underway for my Epic army Chaos. I have started scratch building a couple of Chaos "Deathwheels". I was going to make one but then I thought why not make 2. For each Deathwheel I used 2 40mm round bases and parts from some 1/72 models, and other GW fantasy and 40K bits and pieces. I need to add more spikes and fine details.

Thanks guys

I'm just working through another 10 bases of Chaos space marines to give me a 15 base company. I converted these the same as my last lot by adding backpacks and spiky bits on top of their helmets. The backpacks are from my bits box and I used whatever looked good and fitted!

The look great, and it is to see the old minis with someones personal touch on them, very cool conversions and extremely fiddly, but well worth it for a unique look ;)

Finally my chaos Deathwheels are complete. After adding more spikes (using skaven swords) and lots of rivets made from nail beads and other crap the models are ready to paint. I think there are a few beads missing but they will be easier to see after it is undercoated.

I'm very happy with the results, the only part I dont like is the blades are too big but it looks kind of crazy.

Back to my Epic Chaos forces and this time it is some pinching crabs. The first batch of Defiler proxies I got from Vanguard. They are Defeat in Detail Cybershadow Warcrabs. Beautiful models and fun to paint. Quite big as well as they just fit on a 50mm round base.
