Hi Corran
It would be really nice with EETC in Cph next year :)
Are there many people interested in organizing the event? Can I find a thread about it om powerfist? I'd love to help if I can (even though I live on the other side of the bridge).

Thanks for the offer, unfortunatly most of us in DK are currently occupied by baby projects :(
The posts on Powerfist is in a hidden subforum for the EETC team, this is why you haven't been able to find it.

Well, I will be out probably. All vacation for next year has to be booked by start of November.
:(
I may come but cannot guarantee anything anymore.

I am very sorry to hear that Chris, and I am sorry we haven't been able to give any update on the situation in time :(

Hi,

Are there any news?

When it's not possible to make the event in Denmark, we would be able to jump in and Organizer the event in Berlin instead.

No news, other than we have decided to ask outside the EETC 2016 team if anyone wants to arrange EETC in DK in 2017, and I have given a deadline of next Sunday (27th) at 2100 CET for anyone to come forward, otherwise we will pass it another country :(

While the German team should have first refusal to host if the Danes are unable to, I should mention that EpicUK are planning a team event at the UK Games expo, given that the Euro is currently quite strong against the pound, would that possibly sway people into coming over to the UK again? ;)

Apologies to the EpicUK guys if I've overstepped the mark... thought it merited mention!

I could probably make it to Berlin as it is only a weekend, but could not make it to UK as I need one - two days more for travel

Someone from DK is looking into hosting the ETC anyway, but will need a couple of days to investigate and plan.

I will revert ASAP when I know more

Yay my login finally worked :)

Just dropping in to say that I have taken the job of arranging ETC on my shoulders.

More info to follow when we have made some plans.. Any thoughts from potential participants on how long a deadline you need for sign ups and travel planning. Are we still looking at May, or would June be prefereable?

Cheers,
Sonny

I would prefer June, maybe the Weekend of the 24th? ;) >:D
(Normally I have to work in saturdays, but every 6th week I have my day off on saturday followed by monday, so I don't have to take to much of my overtime)

And please call the event EEC - European Epic Championship
That is what stands on the buttons.

June 3-4 is the Epic UK team tournament so would be good to avoid a clash with that one!

Great news! :spin

June is good, but not the 24-25:th if you want to see a Swedish team (that's our big national holiday midsommar). The first year it was held in september, so if you need more time then late summer/fall is also good. It's up to you what works best for you as there is no specific month you have to do it.
