Managed to get some of my Imperial Guard started over the weekend. These are vehicles from Vanguard (Warrior IFV's) and HLS Models (ex DRM Guild Exterminator)

I really like the HLS Guild Exterminator and have been meaning to get my hands of some for a long while now. The miniature fits the bill for me for a "Super Heavy Tank" big and meaty. However, the miniature comes with a lot of flash on the turret which is quite difficult to remove without damaging the model. It also coms with a random selection of small turrets which did not allow me to have all three vehicles with the same turret mix :{[]

The Warrior IFV is another great miniature from Vanguard, reminds me of the 28mm "Pig Iron" tanks, and will be my main battle wagon for my Nova Grenadiers. The AT support version is a excellent addition to the Warrior stable and I look forward to more additions ;D

I have been playing with a few spare bits and think I have come up with a "Razorback" for my Marines. I think the twin lascanons will look better though but that will have to wait until I order some more Maulers.

Yeah always thought so too (not a bad thing either) In fact if you add in Solar Empire Marine 6mm infantry they look just like the Pig Iron Heavy Infantry :)

Digging your space Wehrmacht. Really great color combos and vibe. You using a stippling brush on those camo bands?
