aha but if you approach it from a different perspective it helps the many marine armies problem.
One practical problem with all the different marine armies I want is finding enough air transport and support for them all. (Marines are easy to get in large numbers, thunderhawks not so much – even if they were available they cost a lot). Stretching the fluff a bit, i'm seeing the inter-chapter nature of the deathwatch as an excuse to use them with any other marine army. I'm looking to use the corvus as an 'any chapter' thunderhawk/caestus/storm eagle proxy that i can use with any of my marine armies.
(I realise that they should still be carrying proper deathwatch, but for some reason I have less of a problem with dropping off Sons of Medusa in a DW Corvus then in a space wolf colorus thawk.)
In other news, ive already destroyed one of my shiny new kakapos. My 'aggressive re-structuring' of its everything was a bit too … aggressive
How aggressive? well the kakapo is a single piece mini. Mine is now in
approximately 59 pieces.
