Those old dreads are my least favourite model in the epic range (to paint that is), I can never get them to look good, but yours look great. nice work!

Cheers mates.
I just wanted to post a quick update on what is on the workbench at the moment:

More Legio Mortis Titans being refitted. :D
Early days obviously but you can see what will be keeping me busy for the next little while.

Magnets baby. Magnets. :)

So after a flurry of activity I've actually finished them!
They don't look too rushed!

Image

Ive given them the same amount of rust and weathering as the warhounds that I did earlier. I've given them Legio Mortis heraldry, including some freehand banners (that I will touch up one day along with every other banner I paint!) to give them that "Age of Darkness" feel.

Image
Here Bellator Deus is configured for the blitz guard role. The carapace landing pad is just the old reaver banner pole, with a piece of plastic strapping trimmed down and glued on.

Image

Immitis Rex has different coloured eyes, though it is difficult to tell because of my questionable photography skills.
Image
I did this to make it look like it had some salvged parts, or perhaps the superficial damage was becoming less superficial over time.

So that's it for now. Look out Legio Ignatum, Battlegroup Infidel are coming!

More pics in the blog.

Thanks for that everyone. I still haven't given these titans a go yet, but I'm hoping to in about a week's time.

Further to that, I've painted up the last of my battle titans for battlegroup infidel (for now at least).
May I present Odium Aeternum, Legio Mortis warlord and all around bad guy.
Image
It's my old warlord titan from the Space Marine box from 1990. It has finally made it's way to the front of the paint queue for a contemporary paint job.
Image
The banner is a bit of foil, and I had a crack at writing the titan name on it with a 0.1mm black pen. A little rough, but I can at least read it so shouldn't forget it's name.

I also gave it a fashionable Eye of Horus eye, to show it's allegiance!
Image

I've also got this old banner that I made back in the day, that I can use as the Inspiring upgrade.
Image

As always, weapons are magnetic (these ones are just what came with it) and there are more pics in the blog.
Cheers!

Cheers guys!
The melta drilling was quite fiddly and is a little untidy. I was thinking about filling them in with greenstuff, and gluing two little bits of plastic tube on the end to make it a double barreled massive melta weapon. But I will leave it as is for now.

The latest addition to the force is mainly for the 40k era, but I can probably use them as Xiphon Interceptors or Voss Lightnings in 30k era games.
Image

I made them from old plastic eldar falcon grav tanks, and some random bits and bobs.

Image
The paint job is a generic dirty chaos red that should fit in well with most of my epic chaos forces.

Image
They should do the job as hellblades, and were fairly easy to do so I can add more later on.

There are some instructions (of sorts) in my blog (here).

So, finally a bit of air support has arrived! I'm looking forward to giving them a run.
