Epic Players,

an update of the work in progress on the cult mechanicus army.

3 ordinatus minoris, fully magnetized for a complete integration with the legio metalica magnetized titans project. Vanguards Miniatures (in this pictures with classic plastic weapons). The vanguards weapons fit perfectly. Pictures will follow when painted. And 4 battery of 5 piece per type of: guns servitors, rapiers, mole mortars, and thudd guns.

Thanks Guys! :D
My approach was to create the ordinatus minoris using all the work done for the titans legion, then reusing the whole set of magnetized weapons, just ready, created for the Titans.

@epic: I totally agree, same choice for me! Legio metalica appeared from the 2ed to Titan legion, and it ended in my heart.

@apoc: I've choose to deploy two magnets as you noticed for a complete compatibility with the plastic weapon, at least in this set of ordinatus:

http://vanguardminiatures.co.uk/shop/novan-citadel-super-heavy-tank/, that sometimes are positioned diagonal top -> down, especially those designed for the carapace. ;D

For the other version (in progress), I'll use only horizontal plastic weapons, The weapon sets it already has are all horizontal, and perfectly in scale with the others:

Great miniatures!

Just catching up on your last couple of pages, some lovely looking red mechs there! Thanks for more stuff to steal ideas from, half or more of my own projects are born from stealing your ideas! ;)

How do you get such nice photos all the time? I know I haven't got optimal lighting in my new office, so my recent photos have taken a dive, but yours are always so crisp!

Thanks RexHavoc!
:D what you do is absolutely amazing, like your current in progress scenery pieces! Outstanding!
Thanks for the compliment!

For have this pictures I use a common camera, not professional, but with closed windows (for not have the shadow of the elements), in my room, with only a classic light on the top. After, in photoshop I increase a little the saturation and contrast to brighten up the colors, that of course, without the sunlight, appear a little muffled.

Seriously, I have an old camera eight years old, an antique, compared to the cameras that I see run on our TC forum. To take good quality pictures of special scenarios, as orkonia, Piombus or Istanor, usually I call one my friend super equipped.
