No update here for a little while, due to a variety of reasons. There is good news and bad news.
The bad news is I have moved away from Melbourne, so need to find more Epic players again, however the good news is that I got a heap of my models out of storage. :D Including all my old Chaos forces from back in the day.

I haven't done a formal headcount yet, but I'd guess that there are about 10,000 points worth of models that I need to sit down and get to know again! Merry Christmas to me!

The first models that I got my hands on (and the easiest for me to update as they just required a little bit of work) were these rhinos from Space Marine.

Time for some more out of production 20 year old plastics.
I have FINALLY gotten around to painting some land raiders. It feels like it has taken an age to get them out of storage. prep them, and then have them muscle their way to the front of the painting queue.
But at last they are getting a little paint!

Fantastic looking DG army, i really like the custom banners on the terminator stands very cool. a lot of armour and well painted also ;)

It slowly getting there, which sums up the Death Guard nicely! :D

I have finally updated my two Warhounds for this army.
I have a total of five Titans I'm doing in Legio Mortis colours.

I tried to go with a scheme that would work in both 30k and 40k eras, so I corroded them right up added some battle damage and kept the mutations and iconography to a minimum.

Cheers everyone. They are pretty funky old models, but should look ok in the army.
The main problem is when you play against someone else's more modern Warhounds, which are much bigger, much cooler and suit the current canon.
In those instances I just have to make sure they are on the table for as brief a time as possible >:D

Next up are some of the old plastic space crusade style Dreadnoughts. I've dubbed these "crusade pattern" until something more official comes along.

They are from the 1990 space marine 2nd edition chaos box, which I've had since it was new.
I think they look ok as shooty dreads, so I'll use them as standard non-contemptor dreadnoughts.

In age of darkness games and games where I use the Astartes list these guys will be dropping in to eliminate flak before Mortarion and his crew fly in.
In the Plague marine list they will probably add some resilience to some of my garrison formations if I have some points left over.
