Currently trying to find a Midlands connection ! I guess my mum grew up in Shropshire... :-)

Could it be with having a ringers/non aligned team so if folk want to play but can't find enough/any team mates they form a side?

Hello all. Been a while since I've been on the forum.

I'm currently thinking about attending this, the Team Event, or the BHGS Challenge in Oxford. Not very likely I'll be able to make both (as well as Britcon, and the GT later in the year... that's a lot of two-day events). Let's just say negotiations are on-going.

(Is there a thread for the BHGS? Was wondering how numbers are looking at both June events?)

If I do come to this I'll need to be adopted into a team, only me. I like the sound of a Barbarian Team.

Five tickets sold for the Challenge, so three more and that will run.

None sold for Britcon yet, but I'm confident that we will hit the min 8 again this year. Of course I'd like more but I know many struggle with the three day nature of it.

Challenge is 18/19, right? not 17/18 as the EUK website says. Might go to that instead. Would love to do britcon but is very hard to justify.
