Thanks! I noticed after I took the pics that I seem to have rubbed off some of the edge highlights on the fins so I've gone back in and fixed that. I'm still a bit tempted to do a touch more shading on the yellow too.

Looks great amigo! Are those 40mm bases? If so I went the same route. :) 50mm seemed too big IMO.

Out of curiosity do you use texture paste for your bases?

Eh... I honestly don't know. I think you're right, but I've had these hanging around since I based my cron armor years ago. They seemed to work pretty good IMO. :)

I'm still a traditionalist with bases. Just wood glue and various sizes of sand and ballast dropped on. I keep wanting to try the pigment and texture paste route but I probably won't until I get to Eldar.

You should check the AdMech battle reports. The last two have been against the approved Cron list.

the drop pods are really fantastic.

Did you use weathering powder? Or is the dirt a wash of brown?

Thanks! No I didn't use any weathering powders on these. Just a bit of brown blended in for this. I do want to give weathering powders a shot at some point though. I've been pretty impressed with how they look for basing models.

Finished up what marks almost the final models for my IF Marine force. I just have four more land raiders to go before I'm done, but I'm a bit tired of painting yellow so I'll be moving back to some Blood Ravens next. These were pretty fun models to paint up too. Enjoy!
