having built a few of those myself, i find the best method is to have 5 hands, have fingertips that can secrete cyanoacrylate at will, and to make sure you are able to mentally manipulate the strength of gravity in small areas. Given all that, they're a sintch. Get painting!

(more usefully: support the body during construction)

Watching CaptPiett go through that process three times was amazingly entertaining. Chaos Dreadclaws were another good one too, although he eventually started using coins to prop up the fuselage which took a lot of my enjoyment out of the process.

Hah after spending several hours weeping and begging the scorps to stay together I look back on the dreadclaw as a golden age....

(Tbh I didnt have any issues with the dreadclaw at all, went together nice and easily, my only problem was a slightly miscast spiky foot-claw-grabber-thing so I had to put that one a bit lower down but it just looks like it stabbed into a soft bit)

So is this a Khorne list or a Corsairs list with a strong Khorne flavour, now?

In any case it's looking great.

Corsairs list with options to add a couple of berserker formations (I've also got an entire Emperor's children army which can loan out noise marines and knights) the old-skool khorne marines to the right of the two lots of 'zerkers are going to be painted up in RC colours and used as chosen, and the six stands to the left of the 'zerkers are the old-skool nurgle marines, so I'm planning on having options to run all of the god-specific units if I want :)

Sounds good, bit off topic but I ask as I have no idea how to construct a chaos marine list and wondered if yours was a good guide. =-P

Only four a base? Cause they are hard to get?

That and they're big models, 5 per base makes them look crowded, I call it "The Apoc method"TM

I do have enough havoks to do 5 to a base but I quite like how they look in 4's ;)

Thanks for the comments guys :)

Lookin' good.
I used the same models for my EC, and the only reason I was able to make 5 look decent was a WM-size (20x40mm) base. Otherwise it would look kinda funky IMO
