Well the ships sailed on that long ago. There are already a ton of non original armies in Net Epic. It's pretty much nonsensical to even mention a concern like this at this stage. Dark Eldar, Necrons, Sisters of Battle are all not original armies, why should Grey Knights be the only ones left out?
I wasn't a member here when those decisions were taken. As a result, I am expressing my view that the decision that was taken to include those forces was also a mistake.
I'd be very interested to see how many people actually play any of these 'new' armies. I see very few, if any, battle reports for the three armies you have mentioned there, so I do wonder how much demand there was at the time for them to be included.
Also, a ton? The original armies were Eldar, Space Marines, Orks, Imperial Guard, Titans/Knights (Titan Legions), Chaos, Squats, and Tyranids. They outnumber the additional official NetEpic armies which have been added, so unless your ton includes all the unofficial lists (which do not count in my view), I would say that you're exaggerating a bit there

Id like an official Grey Knights list. I have an unofficial one but Primach has said he will be doing it, so why would I rely on my own when someone with far more experience and who officially maintains the rules will be providing one?
Because if you really want it and you want others to have the option of using it, what better way to demonstrate your commitment to establishing it than to design and play test yourself

. You could always liaise with Primarch to work with him on it. He has given you permission to PM reminders too, so I'm sure he'd appreciate any help you'd be willing to provide.
I'm a great believer in only developing official lists when there is sufficient demand. If there were lots of players wanting an official Grey Knights list I would be more inclined to look on it more favourably. Even in that instance though, I have some reservations.
The first is that the Grey Knights are not really an army. They are specialist elite force used for a narrow range of missions. Are there really enough of them to be fielded as a large army Epic style? I would have to be persuaded that there are.
The second is balance. They are one of the most powerful units in the game. How are they going to balanced across an entire army? Also, aren't the majority of their vehicles, support units, and superheavies just going to be Space Marine units piloted by Grey Knights? Does this really justify a new army? There are already plenty of Marine armies, including optional and house rule variants, out there. Do we really need any more? How are they going to be distinctive, powerful, and yet not overpowered? I'm sorry, but I just cannot see how it's going to work from a pragmatic point of view.
To my mind, they're an allied group for other Imperial forces, which is how they were integrated into SM2, and, in my view, that's how they ought to remain.
