Well sadly it seems to have ground to a halt as I never even got an order confirmation for the bases from TMG before they sold off shop. Did get a hold of them via Facebook, and the order was confirmed, but doubtful I will ever see them now.

Not following you there. You saying you paid but never got your product? That's generally easy to rectify with your credit card company or PayPal (depending in how you paid). If you're saying that instead because you never got them you can't proceed (irrespective of paid or not) are you then aware that not only is the IP and models now owned by Vanguard but the bases are sold by them as well?

Saying I paid and the stuff was never, as far as I am aware, sent out before the company changed hands. I don't know if there is a way to find out if it ever was sent, as I never had any replies to any emails I sent.

I am aware the bases are now available from Vanguard, but to be honest, I'm not dropping another £30 on bases I already paid for straight after Christmas, and I am probably well past the timeframe to complain to Paypal.

I did see on facebook that all their orders were going to be fulfilled, but I am not holding my breath on that happening.

actually AFAIK you can still open a dispute with PP. 45 days is the norm but they'll review regardless as I understand it.

Might be worth dropping Vanguard a message (or even on his thread). Its *possible* your order might have been passed on to him but been lost in the transition. He is taking onboard the plastic pledges after all. Worse case he knows nothing about it and you can still claim back from paypal.

It is all a shame though. Troublemaker made some great minis and used to be really active on here. Then when it went wrong they kinda disappeared. I get they lost money on some of their investments, but they just kinda faded away on here with the updates. Shame.

Yeah, I'll shoot off a message after work. Don't know how it would work as as far as I can see it is now a different pack size. When I orderer it was IIRC, £10 for 80 bases, now it's £6 for 40, which is a 50% price rise.



Edit - I did fire off another email to both the addresses I could find for TMG earlier, just asking what was happening.

That sounds like a 20% price increase.

But the Eye of Horus Podcast guys had the same problem with their TMG order. Got it resolved through Paypal and reordered from Vanguard. It's a pity things ended up that way.

Yeah, I can't count....


No response from emails, can't get a dispute to open with Paypal, but been in touch with Vanguard who are trying to get it sorted.
