Just wondering what the reasoning is behind not being able to have a single option choice for Vampire Hunters?

Not sure if that was a typo on your part? But if they operate as singles on the battlefield in the fluff why are they bought as pairs in the current list?

How about increasing the cost of the VHunter by 100pts and giving it the equivalent to a Night Wing's AA in it's stat line. You could even give it Night-Wing Cover as the weapon name.

Flying MW is always a good option to take.

It's not typo for Saim Hann 4.2.. :)

There is no current approved list for Saim Hann, so if we are talking the 4.1 and past lists.. I can't explain why the other AC did so.. All I know is that my reading say other wise and so I have followed the fluff.. :)

Nope. You buy them in singles for 275 points each.
