I agree to disagree but will say no more.

Meanwhile, let me use the stage time to make another plea for Yme-loc amends which are relatively straightforward and would bring that list as a viable option. There's another thread with lots of suggestions from myself and others around this. A few tweaks here and there and it's viable for sure.

Sorry I changed the channel. Got bored of watching re-runs.

If you guys wanna change the list... well I guess you already did so don't need my blessing.

But the lack of playtesting changes or consultation seems absolutely ridiculous. The bottom line is you just made it an uncompetitive and unattractive army by destroying a viable build without creating the conditions for another viable build.

The horde swarm was not an auto win army. It actually takes skill and luck to play. The nid av heavy list just isnt viable. Units are expensive, easily broken and lack lustre. The initiative 1 and vulnerability of the sup comd plus negligible anti-air and next to no long range mw/tk firepower are risking options and are not rewarded in the current meta. All of the games i have won have come down to a few dice rolls with 50:50 chance to win or lose an engagement. It is high stakes exciting gaming.

Some of the comments i have recieved is "wow that really looks like a tyranid swarm"
Which i reply "tyranids arent actually real so how would you know what a swarm looks like? "

And "that's a thematic list- the expendable rule is tough but fitting"

To which i reply "yes it is fitting but sometimes it can chaff a little..."

Don't bother replying to my post, because it won't make one iota of difference.

The current addition makes it 250 points more expensive. Losing an important activation and reducing overall model count by 3.

I would have thought a 25 point buff to large swarms would have been acceptable and a 250 point price on lictors. The rest is too much of an aggressive knee jerk change. It doesn't seem well considered or thought out.

1 activation and a couple of models, pretty minimal then. This has probably had more thought and discussion than any other review and slightly nerfs the slightly OTT assault swarm and harridans build.

Hi thanks for sharing your list, it is very close to the version that we wished to down grade slightly.

To echo Steve a drop of a single activation from a list that has eaten its way (in UK tournaments) through most other lists is relatively minor. I will now duck as the cries on the changes to the EUK Iyandens from the last review start getting hurled about.
