At least it has "decides" so in the case of playing against Necrons you can choose not to use that condition

I know a few armies i would decide not to choose it against

As its worded I mean it's bad for the necron player. It essentially forces them to field the unit on the board rather than starting in reserves.

Questions/comments
Rhinos - there is no actual upgrade listed for rhinos, I'm guessing you can use them though.
Drop pods - same deal as rhinos?
Terminators - Fists and some other lists have them costed at 325 pts. Just wondering if that seems suitable here as well. DA were the original Terminator centric chapter. That or I was hoping to see something to represent "deathwing assault" 40k rules. Something like: Deathwing assault - Deathwing terminators make deploy via deepstrike at the start of the turn after strategy roll is made. Also in 40k deathwing are fearless.
What rule for "hunt for the fallen" do you want to move a head with for play testing?
Ravenwing - still think 350 is too expensive.
The land raider ares while yes the Stat line follows the 40k armlement pretty closely I always thought it was the dumbest configuration. Not sure that people will find it very useful in EA either.
The list structure is very restrictive and with the core sections only allowing certain support units. The core units are quite costly so to get a comprehensive list you arent going see much army variability.

I like the core list requirements (Not sure on the cost, but like the forced Ravenwing for air support), and I'm ready to start playtesting this army. Just want to see what rule we are testing for Hunt for the Fallen.

Some clean up of the pdf would be good, like rhino and drop pods. Much like Atension has said.
I also don't think I'd ever take and Ares

A Glaive though......well THAT i would take

Probably not because this is supposed to represent a fast moving "Hunt for the Fallen" list, but if anyone should have one in 40k times then it's the 1st Legion

What were you thinking of fielding?
The biggest issue is being forced to take the deathwings to get the cheaper formations. I struggle to make 10 formations and I can't even get all the ones I want. Being forced to take the Ravenwing to get the fighters is a pain also. Honestly I can't see this list getting much support with it being so restrictive. I mean yeah it would be cool to play one wing centric list but it won't have the balance needed to have a shot a doing well.

I'll post mine up later tonight when i get home from work, but how about we test this as the "Hunt for the Fallen rule"

Before deployment, after army selection: The Dark Angels player decides whether to use the Hunt for the Fallen VC. If it is used, the opponent chooses one of his/her formations that has either at least one infantry unit or a character upgrade and nominates that formation as the one containing the Fallen. This formation must start the game set up on the table. The Dark Angels player must destroy this formation completely to score the Hunt for the Fallen VC.
This replaces the Blitz objective for the Dark Angel player

Just having a quick look at your list, How are you getting 4 executioners in a formation?
It's +25 points for the pair, I'm reading the pdf in the way of all marine lists that you can't take the same upgrade twice.
So you would be limited to only 2 Executioners per formation.

One of the lists I'm looking at so far is:

Ravenwing 350
4x Bikes
4x Land Speeders

Ravenwing 350
4x Bikes
4x Land Speeders

Tactical 450
6 stands
Grand Master
Hunter

Deathwing 400
4x Terminators
Chaplain

Thunderhawk 200

Devestator 250
4x Devestator Plasma

Ironwing 375
4x Pred Anihilator
2x Pred Executioner

Ironwing 375
4x Pred Anihilator
2x Pred Executioner

Air support 250
2x Nephalim Fighters

That's 9 formations

Oh shoot yes you are right, I forgot about that. Unfortunately your list is illegal too hehe. You have 3 Line Support (tactical, devistators, hawk) when you can only have 2 per 1 deathwing formation. See what I mean about the severe list structure limitations.

You can have two line companies per Deathwing and one per Ravenwing and Ironwing formation.
I have 5 "Core" formations, 3 "Line" formations and 1 "Ravenwing Support" formation

Not as restrictive as you think

The armyforge list is out of date currently. Needs a complete re-work

So need some colour matching help. Never painted dark angels before and am looking for advice on what Valeo air colour to use to best aproximate dark angels green on my base coat. Also would I prime with black or a white primer? Love the air brush for very fast base coating!
Need similar advice on colours to best use for the deathwing. Going very traditional here.

My army is all in the pre heresy black with red accents to match my 40k RT marines, I aso use this army for heresy games.
Not sure about airbrushing, I still paint everything with a brush.

For black though I use vallego black grey as a base, then wash with a black wash
