Thanks chaps.
For this army I wasn't sure if I would go grey or black for the vehicles. In the end I'm happy I went with grey. It's fairly easy for me to do, but keeping it in character with the right amount of trim and Oldschool markings is the challenge. My eyesight isn't improving with age!

I finished the third Macharius Omega tonight. I decided this would be the squadron commander.
I painted the command squad symbol from the old IG colour scheme on its side, along with some death blades symbols.

These are all the bikers that I have at the moment. Two of them are on magnets, so if I ever get any more I can swap out some for commissars or characters.

Edit: That's clever with the bikes AND using these Omegas with a magnet. I wish I'd do the same with mine.

It's coming along. I'll have my first games with it at a tournament this weekend so looking forward to that.
I'll be running steel legion, without artillery or battle tanks, and with a reaver, so probably not the most competitive list in the world. Not setting my hopes too high... ;)

I have painted up a few more chimeras now, so just another small update.

My heavy weapons guys now have some transports. Yellow company, blue platoon.

And the inquisitor has a chimera too.

Black with completely over zealous edge highlighting.
His chimera has a heavy flamer for purging heretics.
Also note the inquisitor symbol on the top hatch. To help this highly secretive, shadowy individual stand out on the battlefield. :D
