Space Wolves 2.4.2 the final version

18 formations of fenrisian wolves ;)

Try this for an armoured core with drop support. Really nice against lower SR armies as you can force corners. T1 consists of drop and blitz for T2 assault nasty.

-Great Company 1 (BTS)
+ Wolf Lord
+ 2 x Long Fangs
+ 2 x Wolf Guard Terminators
Drop Pods
-Great Company 2
+ Rune Priest
+ 2 x Long Fangs
+ 2 x Dreadnaughts
Drop Pods
-Scouts
+ Rhinos
-Strike Cruiser
-Land Speeders 1
-Land Speeders 2
-Swiftclaw Bikes
+ 2 Attack Bikes
-Land Raiders 1
+ Hunter
-Land Raiders 2
+ Hunter

Let me bust out some other lists for you tonight. The brain trust above (Uven) gots a few nice ones too I'm sure.

0. The model is nothing but a token for deployment and the associated hit from the deathwind. Nothing that a coin couldn't accomplish (that actually holds true for your entire collection -they're prettier versions of tokens, nothing more). If you cared for to have the model then one per formation

I might have calculated it wrong...

I get 3025 for the below, and I can't find anywhere that Scouts can take Rhinos.

you're right about the wolf scouts. i had forgot they lose the global Marine transport ability for teleport.

It's all about taste but I wouldn't go with the landraiders in Jimmys suggested build. Too expensive and the army will be out activated and "slow" :) (But then I almost never take landraiders when playing marines and I rarely see them at tournaments ether...)
Haven't played that many games with the Wolfs but 2 clans, 2 long fangs, 2 fenris wolfs and 1-2 thunderbolts is a good core when starting a build I think :)

I think I will prefer an aggressive as I come from Tau and have experienced that I try to play that one aggresive (failing most of the time ;D )

Although I appreciate any lists you can suggest, I have miniatures for almost every formation you can think of.

Well, dang, I have 8 razorbacks glued for my SW, and I had another 4 lined up: looks like I bought too many of them for a list like that.

totally off topic, but I've always felt scouts + 4 las razorbacks would make a good garrison force.... don't let em go unless you're sure.... you might be the guy to find out that hordes of razorbacks, used well, is the best option for marines....

I definitely "Over-invested". But I guess in the back of my mind I was hoping that a sweet enough pot of minis could be traded for a FW Thunderhawk at some point!

In any case - it's going to be a while until I get my Space Wolves ready but when I do I'm going to have a lot of options in terms of vehicles.
