I think they look great and don't see the need for realistic turrets on fantasy tanks driven by space trolls...

Man those tanks are great! Don't worry too much about realism, rule of cool (almost) always works!

I'll be lengthening the turret, it's got sound logic behind the advice.

You can certainly do what you like and majority rule and all that. I think I was the one who suggested the Trampler pilots had force fields to protect them. I just find it odd that a seemingly heavily armored tank has an exposed driver where incoming fire might be concentrated. I agree with the "rule of cool" to a large extent but am getting tired of the latest trend in this forum/topic to stifle discussion by invoking it. I really like the tanks and will certainly be buying multiple sets of them. Bikers and smaller Vector-like vehicles just seem more appropriate for exposed drivers.

Rule of Cool: Pilot sitting exposed, because he's just that angry

Rule of Cool Realism: Making bigger turrets and longer barrels because they look like proper tanks

4th hull done, if people like it?

If people like?

I LIKE!

I LIKE!

Though looking at those it'd be cool to have more half track hulls and maybe a 4 pairs of wheels version.

So actually maybe two sets of 4 hulls, one all tracks the other half tracks and lots of big wheels. Not that my bank account will like it.

Other hull types, half tracks and wheeled would be fun and could be done at a later date if these do well. The greater the variety of hulls and turrets available the better and will make for a more interesting army but I feel taking it slow would be wise. Lets get these four rolling and see how they do then add other designs later, personal view.

I agree with Sawbones that the rule of cool should not stifle any discussion on possible design tweaks customers might like to suggest. The whole point of pre-viewing the models is to stimulate opinion on that design and seek suggestions for improvement before production commences.

Exposed drivers for tanks are odd but I can live with that for certain races, how about giving them helmets and body armour that should help.

Just been looking at them again and had a thought, how about having the driver as a plug in piece with the option of an armoured cab like on the fourth design for those wanting a protected driver. This would also give greater variety to each design as both options could be used along side each other.

Should address all points of view and please everyone I think.

This! Love the tanks as is but this could be really cool if possible (economically viable?) to implement :)

Plug-in pieces could be hatches, skinnerz, turrets, thingamajingas ^^ sell them as separate modkitsi f need be!

If you build it they will come... ;)

I am on the side of Sawbones on this.

I would prefer people say "I like the aesthetic, personally" rather than using "rule of cool" as justifying aegis for whatever stupid idea I've come up with lately. :-)

I've added shields to the drivers and gunner, because it does make sense!

A future stretch goal or future campaign set could be full enclosed armoured hulls, or add-on components to give enclosed cabs to the existing hulls.
