Thanks guys, once I have my next batch of components I will be able to start adding detail to the individual units which should make them more interesting to look at, they are a little plain at the moment.

@ Primarch, well you could always have a word with the man about that possibility.

Hi!

I indeed have many a pending words with that particular gent about a great many things.

I just have to stick to my queue before it threatens to crush me flat. ;)

Two things to say, really cool castle I can't wait to see what you do with it. The second is, in your picture I can see all your books on your shelf and my nerd curiosity is peaked and I want to dig in and see what their lol.

I hear you buddy. :)

@ Blindhorizon, books well not much you'd be interested in I don't think 90% WWII from Osprey, various other publishers and a bunch of FOW source books I use well as source books actually. ;) Yes I have an interest in historical miniatures too. Oh I do have my older epic rule books lurking on one of them too and even a few old codex books squeezed in. :)

There won't be any updates on the walls until I get my next parcel from Battlescene so I guess it's back to some painting for me.

Cheers guys

Test paint scheme for some heresy period Iron Warriors for Isstvan V.

After much deliberation on what bases to use for my heresy legions I decided to utilise my vast stock of strip bases for two reasons, cheap as I already have them and quicker to finish because of the small surface area, so win win really. :)

Base colour scheme matches my Vraks bases as they will use the same terrain.

Using TMG's novan elites as proxy marines as they fit well with my existing heresy marine collection size wise and they are readily available. Just think of them as another suit undergoing field testing at the time.

Really nice! I've not seen those proxies painted anywhere yet so that's a first.

Absolutely love it mate. Wish I was still at Uni and could use their laser cutter!!!

Yes sure will do tomorrow.

Which OOP marines you interested in there have been several types over the years?
