Great sketches, but I'm going to dissent from popular opinion.

How do you see these being used?

Skirmish? Too small. Not big enough to hold detail that gives a feeling of individual character to my mind.

Large Battle? Then you run into people trying to rationalize tons of scavenged stuff. How exactly has the world changed enough to not be using scavenged military equipment? If there's large cohesive forces society hasn't broken down.

Specialty projects? Would you sell enough to justify cost of implementation? I feel like most people are saying they'll find a niche for these; is that enough?

All questions you can answer far better than me, and they are cool and I wish you luck.

Thanks for the kind comments guys!

@Char
I see what you are saying and I have thought some of the same myself. Right now it is more something that the artist has a vision for and that he wants released. It may or may not do well commercially, but I have found that the infantry drives sales more than anything (which was unexpected for me). I think the infantry will have enough alternate uses to be popular.

I have to discuss it with the artist, but I wouldn't mind setting up multiple factions for a large battle type of thing. I know it technically doesn't make sense how they could scavenge a ton of crazy vehicles and keep them running, but lots of stuff in the mini world doesn't make sense, and it doesn't make them any less cool :P

I'm surprised infantry drives the market too.
And I'm in agreement that minis don't have to make sense... look at the Imperator Titan! ;D

Happy Hunting! :)

I know it doesn't quite make sense from a game point of view, but i'm still fairly certian I would buy quite a few models from this range. The thing is that they have an asthetic that a lot of people want to use in their larger 6mm armies, IMO.

I love this stuff, the Wasteland Muties and the gangers are very cool. Like others have said, these figures could be used for a wide range of games - I'm looking forward to seeing the finished models.

My only worry is I hope this apoc stuff doesent slow down the Demons/High Elves/Empire AKA fantasy ranges. Id rather those come out before this stuff.

That is a fair point. As to the Demons, they are mastered and are now having production molds made, so no delays there. Ogres are already sculpted, no delays there either. Really though, there are only so many 6mm armies I can release in a year, I would prefer to mix it up at least a little bit.

Renaissance will likely get made before Elves, only because of my own indecision as to who will sculpt the elves.

Good to know the updates on the armies! I can understand mixing it up. If more of the Apoc stuff was closer to Epic 40k armies, I could see a big market for it.

I would get whoever did the Dread elves to sculpt high elves.

I'd love to get these, snip off the weapons and use them as civilians.

I would buy all of those and use them to proxy as an ork list. I think they'll be great

TheDespot29, a renaissance army? I must have missed that. What plans do you have for that?

I get the point about so many armies, and as a hobbyist it gets more interesting to mix things up a bit, so I am guessing it is the same with the sculpting/casting. I think people are just happy 6mm is being actively supported and built up in general.

I will buy a zillion of the Post-apocalyptic miniatures if they look like the drawings and come in that variety (the Metal Militia, wasteland gangs, muties, etc.). So very Lost & Damned, feral and chaotic! (and you know I buy a LOT) ;o)
