Welcome back to the new Grey Knights Epic Armageddon army list discussion thread (original thread is here http://www.tacticalwargames.net/taccmd/viewtopic.php?f=73&t=20488). The latest release document (1.3.1) is as the list appears in the 2014 compendium. Once changes have been made I will link to the working document.

This army list is designed around the 2011 Grey Knights Warhammer 40,000 Codex, and as such represents strike force armies of the Grey Knights. I know that some people are not overly keen on a GK only army and feel that it is against the fluff...I appreciate that opinion but please don't post along those lines in this thread. After checking with Dobbsy and Dwarf Supreme I have decided to keep the army under the Adeptus Astartes section as it is primarily a Space Marine list.

Please post any feedback or development ideas in this thread. Looking forward to basing my army and playing some test games!

Any ideas for a good Dreadknight proxy?

Closest thing would be an old Imperial Knight model or one of the Skinnerz things from Defeat in Detail:

Skinnerz ones look ok but I'm on the lookout for something better!

How does this play? It doesent have much in the line of WE. Seems very much like basic marines with the ability to teleport. What makes this stand out more?

Yeah I guess the main differences altogether are:

Inquisitor w/ retinue of troops (chimera transport)
^ Vindicaire Assassin / Death Cult / Servitors / Psyker Battle Squad options

Storm Ravens as transport or formation
Dreadknights
Dreadnoughts w/ psifleman option
Psi-Titans as an option for the same points as a Warlord

Just realised that the Razorbacks have unique weaponry.

Instead of Heavy Bolters there are Psycannons. They're a straight up buff, having AT4+/AP4+ at 30cm range, instead of only AP attacks.
