To be fair, he never said they were laughable. He said the difference between them and his more recent models was laughable.

And I don't disagree. I'd be over the moon to turn out models as good as those LRs, but Vaaish's recent models are waaay ahead of them. They're amazing.

A bit of progress between the craziness the past couple of months and ripping up the floor to put down laminate. I finished up these three today and I'm ready to move on to some BGH frigates before taking on six more warhounds. I did a few things different with the Gold... partly because I ran out of my venerable pots of Shining and Burnished gold from back when I started all this and partly because I wanted to see how much I could trick the eye into seeing metal when it's mostly flat with metal highlights.

Props to Zaius for the ruins. I thought I'd give his technique a go and see how it turned out with these guys.
