Looks the part. I'm late to the party, but those White Scars look great.

Thanks, I hate looking at my painted miniatures through a zoomed camera, I can see every flaw. To the naked eye, they look much better.

Great stuff. Just the right amount of bits methinks. I too am curious as to the origin of the mdf building

I picked up a Dystopian Wars French Fortification for 50% off at a local shop. The fortifications normally come in two pieces, the base and the top. I decided to increase the height. I've removed some very small details, like doors a few of the guns. I also added some 40k bits, styrene/wood and used a textured spray on the wood pieces to hide the grain.

This is what it looks like before I assemble the top with the banner, build stairs and base it... then apply a primer:

Looks great. Really creative work to add height to the fortification.

Making Skitarii Chimedons from Dark Realm Petards, Predator turrets and styrene. I plan to add some additional styrene bits on the half-round piece so it matches the hull of the tank and not so smooth. I just noticed the hatch is not flush, will need to fix that too.

I started painting a couple of vehicles for White Scars as a test today. They look better in person than these zoomed-in photos. They are not as bright white as my tactical marines from a while back. I may go back to the tacticals and make them a little darker and dirty too. I plan to add some specks of dirt/mud on the Rhino later. The treads aren't done either.
