Are the skimmers and APCs really 3cm long?? How about the vector?

I figured people would like to try out some "truescale" vehicles, so yep.
Could make them smaller if preferred?
Vectors are smaller, 2cmish? I'll measure it monday...

I'm all for true scale as long as the models don't look too much bigger next to existing ranges/collections of ground vehicles. Some cross compatibility between different sources is a good thing IMHO.

As for war engines it's true scale all the way for me.

Ben, did you receive my email the other day mate?

Not the APCs at least. They need to be as close to tru scale as possible. Though I think 3cm for the APCs is still a bit small.

I think I just spaced out and thought Epic figures were smaller than they actually are; I probably had the plastic Rhinos in mind. By all means stick to truescale for the sake of consistency.

A scaled-down FV432 would be close to E:A Rhino length. But it would only fit 10 regular humans.

Scale needs to fit in and not look out of place with existing ranges.

Perhaps this is a Heavy Trampler?

Later I'd like to sculpt a Very Heavy Trampler and an Ultra Heavy Trampler (slightly larger than the CS Leviathan Stalker by that point).

Crusha? And Supa Crusha?
Or
Masha
Smasha
Basha
Trasha
Gasha
Nasha

etc..

I like "Crusha", sounds appropriate!

I must admit, the larger war engines aren't quite as much interest to me as the wonderful multi pose infantry and smaller vehicles that you've put out.

I've updated the design of the Dreadnought Stalker variant head 2, and added size dimensions of the Gun Vector to the campaign preview.

I'll start the ball rolling shortly if there's no other design changes requested for the opening 5 models?

The re-sized head does look better on this model but obviously now will not house three crew.

I still feel you need to armour up the very vunerable knee area. The rest of the model looks well protected but this area is exposed to enemy fire and is an obvious weak point. Can you not stretch up/raise the top rim of the shin armour or something to help here.

You should also consider putting up a vote poll for those vehicles you've show to gauge if people prefer your true scale APC and big skimmer or if a size more compatible with other sources would be best. It is a problem that should be tackled at an early stage I think especially if you consider the size of you forth coming plastic APC, you need scale consistency within your own model range.

I'll see what I can do about that, it's only been downsized 20%.

I'll see about putting in some detachable kneepads. Just need a design I like. Any suggestions of historical influences I can draw from?

The head does not need to take three crew (my preferred configuration only) it was just an observation.

For knee armour how about an extension piece that would just glue to the top of the legs.

Round, or angular?

I think I'm in the angular camp. Both heavily WIP, obviously.

I second the angular.
Don't change the feet, they seem unique to me.
