Looking good! The bases make them pop! I would suggest a bone colour drybrush on the bases to alleviate any flatness and add texture

If they were mine I'd be tempted to go for an almost pure white edge highlight, but they are looking grand as they are! Go into mass production with em!!

Been a while since my last post sadly. But on the upside I've done exactly as kyussinchains said.

I did go into massproduction and also tried out a highlight of only emperors children on one tactical detachement. Not really sure if i like it or not, so therefor all of the others are of a lower state of highlighting, until I make up my mind.

So here's the fruit of my labour. Much of it thanks to you guys and the support.
Next up is my terminators whos soaking on the stripping bath at the moment, then I need sme bases for my assaultmarines who are on fantasy cavalrybases atm. Or maybe the thunderbolts, will have to see. I really enjoy painting on this scale, and gaming seems fun even if ive only tried out the training scenarios in the rulebook as of yet.

Getting bogged down in needs and have to's has been slowing me down, but at least I got my first terminator formation done.

They look real nice en masse, and the bases really fit them good, thanks for the tips on that one, would probably have gone cityfight otherwise.

Going through Vaaish painting log I can really see what the "Pure white highlight" can do to epic miniatures, and even if Im a little scared of trying and failing it I am really interested in trying it out now.
I do think i'll go for the standard of painting I have acheived so far for the rest of my army as a start though, and go over the whole lot once I have a playable force.
after all I am really doing this for the gaming part, not just painting, so while having em decently painted is a goal, it will have to be secondary, or even tertiary to everythinh else.

Anyway, heres my progress since last time, I'm a little puzzeled as to where to put the yellow off-colour on the speeders, and would appreciate any tips. While I think they look alright in all purple I do think theyre missing out.

Great contrast in colours, there.
