No problem mate, I'll be cutting, cutting and cutting some more this week :)

Hi!

When is t again do you plan to have all these things available on the website?

Primarch

The website is kindly being done for me, so I would be guessing sometime over the next few weeks. I need to get some decent photos taken of them, so will have to slot that in over the coming few weeks too.

Cheers!

Hi!

Ah great!

The reason I ask is that I would need a list of things that would be available to plan out the cityscape I want to do.

Thanks!

Yeah, no problems. I'm sure it will be soon as I have even more stuff to put up...such as a bridge to tie in with the road tiles, battle damaged buildings...some non-gothic buildings...packs of bases etc etc etc :)

Sorry for not having kept up to date with this thread , I feel ill at Christmas and then again on my holiday! (was not impressed!) and though Ive been around Ive not been keeping up to date with everything!

Thanks again for the bits, They arrived on xmas eve (impressive for royal mail!I was so shocked!) (I wasn't sure if I had remembered to message you and say that, sorry if I had forgot, i was very poorly!)

Cant wait to grab some of this stuff!

Really want to pimp a cathedral out ( I have plenty of eagles from 40k kits) , and those roads are just so awesome, way better than the home made ones I have done.

Is the Precinct the building with the eagle on the front? I ask as I want to get a couple of that one. One I will base with some steps going up to it, and one I will make so it will fit on top of one of the larger buildings as a Grand Hall of Justice ( I have been reading a LOT of 2000ad again recently!)

How hard would it be to have a road with that eagle engraved into it? It would need the head turned sideways as the 3d one would stick up. I ask as I was just curious, as I am likely to just buy a normal road section and just paint it on. I thought it would be cool to have one leading up to justice hall! But it would be call to have that symbol on more than one building!

Is the road pack what is in the photo? If so will the straights be available separately, even at a later date? I ask as I don't have a board as big as most people but I'd like enough road to play a decent city scape, and the pack has a nice assortment but I only need so many roundabouts for a small board!

Bridges will be so cool!

I can see me replacing all my terrain I have so far for this stuff. It looks so much better, and I can happily chop wood up to my heart content!

Hi mate, I'm sorry to hear you've been ill, I hope you are better now! I'm glad you got the bits, I hoped Royal mail hadn't mislaid it over the xmas holidays and you had it in time to mess about with them.

Yes, the Precinct is the one with the Eagle on it. Great minds think alike! I have a working drawing of the precinct building on the Guild Hall with a compound wall around it and and engraved gateway. The guild hall towers are armored with vision slits rather than the gothic windows. It would all fit on a 300 x 300 custom base where the walls slot into the base. I am working on a small Enforcer army (when SCP get the new Legionnaires range sorted..hint to Tom if he's reading) :).... I just need to get it finished off, but that will be a little way down the line as I'm working on some very interesting commissions that I look forward to see built up.

The next lot of buildings, which have a similar footprint to the gothic buttressed ones, which Bissler will see what I mean soon :), I thought I would do a more generic style, square windows and doors etc. These should be cut and ready for sale in the coming weeks.

Road tiles, yes, the sets are to be finalized, but sections will be able to be purchased in pairs or as individuals too. I can do custom engraving on them, drop me a message and we can work something out as and when you are ready.

Basically, I am happy to do custom, bespoke pieces as commissions if people want anything in particular that I don't already do. Or if it is an idea I already have (and I have LOTS of them started and stored in CAD), I can push that one up the to-do list. Just give me a shout :)

Cheers!
Paul

I'm loving the precinct idea! Like Rex I'm a big 2000AD fan (it's also the source of my avatar pic) so am excited to see what you have put together for this!

Your thread needs a Starship Troopers style "Do you want to know more" button! ;D

How big a sheet can you fit on your cutting table?

Just thinking it may be useful to get multiple road tiles layed out on a larger one piece sheet. The customer could choose the road network they want based on the smaller tiles. This would reduce the number of single tiles needed to set up a city.

Also some larger tiles would allow for things like a city plaza open space and maybe a park area. If big enough these larger tiles could have removable blank tiles worked into them so that different scenic tiles could be placed into these spaces as required for different layouts. Big tiles to place those large buildings on would be handy to. All based on multiple 100mm measurements so that it all fits together of course.

Just some ideas. :)

And now you are delving in the area primarch is thinking of, cityscapes! ;)

Hi, I can cut 600mm x 400mm max on this cutter.

I can certainly do bespoke layouts, no problem at all :) I have done some 300 x 300 mm tiles as you describe, where a section can be removed and a different piece be placed instead. In fact thats how my gaming table has been designed. I just need to build it :)

So yes, if anyone has a particular layout in mind, I can certainly work something out, no problem at all :)

Cheers

Hey, thanks for the max size info that is handy to know. I quite fancy having a removable section option like you describe and would be interested in seeing what you intend to do with your own layout sometime.

Cheers

Hi!

Psypher, once things are online will they have rough dimensions of the piece?

I want to construct a city scape as close to scale as possible, so dimensions would help. :)
