STATUS UPDATE: Progress slow. So far only painted one stand goblin green in preparation of flocking.

No surprise there; I happened to have quite busy weekend, but as it was busy in the good sense of the word I don't care. For example, I took my 3 year old son to a (very) small local modelling exhibition (got to show those kids some good hobbies...). He was almost as excited about the 1/16th scale radio controlled tanks as his father.

Those things are a treadhead's dream come true. I mean, they even have engine noise generator, hull MG with sounds and a battle simulator!!  :O  Now I'll just have to invent a good business case (for the Sergeant Major) which proves why a 1/16th scale radio controlled King Tiger is an essential household item...  }:)

Now, if only you had cats - an RC King Tiger model is good for rounding them up - we use a vacuum cleaner to similar effect, they flee to their hideaways under the bed and the washroom cupboard. Only problem would be a Macule-class cat, who takes interest in mechanical stuff - Macule adores the food blender (he's not daft), and a pair of kids in the street once tried to frighten him with an RC car - not Macule: he sniffed the vehicle thoroughly and took great interest in the proceedings.

UPDATE:
Flocked one Berserker platoon. Picture in here. Unfortunately it is a bit dark; probably the white background reflected the flash.  :blues:

UPDATE:
In spite of a very busy weekend I managed to paint the bases of a thunderer detachment green in preparation for flocking. I decided not to bother with pics until the whole brotherhood is finished.

UPDATE:
I painted all of the unpainted bases (the rest of the brotherhood and a Guild Biker force) green and flocked them. Some new pics have been added  here. There are pics of my first warrior brotherhood (Brotherhood of the Forest) and a guild biker force (Grugni's Hammers). I also took a pic of my whole army, which is a whopping 2500 points (using Net Epic point values) .

Next step: a new warrior brotherhood.

I have a big Squat Army too ! Glad to see that many of us keep them alive, even if the Demiurge may be distant cousins, like Vulcans & Romulans.

It will grow. I have some 10 000 points of unpainted minis at hand. When I get my stuff from Signius and add to it the stuff I get from Hergmir, with whom I just concluded a trade, it will be some 15 to 20k more. Still not a Primarchload, but a sizable force anyway.
