Well, my first comment is that Geocities wont let you link to pictures hosted on their web servers!
I am sure that it is all wonderful.

I went and looked. The Warlord looks nice. I liked the way the grey and green contrast.
I never go to see all the pictures though because it stopped downloading and then a page come up saying "The web site you are trying to access has exceeded its allocated data transfer."
Might I suggest that your "high rez" pictures might be too much for a "free" site. Try to limit the size you post and you will enjoy it better and we will be able to see it better.

p.s. That is why I went with Earthlink and will remain with them for the near future. I have never had these kinds of issues.

OK, now I have seen the cockpit. Well done. Looks nice and I am sure the final model will look great. Will the final canopy be clear or translusant? The backlit picture seems to be only translusant but I am unsure.

The canopy is not completely clear. It is more translucent. Under normal light, you can see that there is a figure inside, and recognize this as an eldar, but not much more detail than that. I plan to increase the contrast by maybe painting the cockpit white, the figure black, and drybrush the figure heavilly. The simulated "metal" parts of the canopy currently reflect lots of light, obscuring some of the internal detail. Hopefully, when these "metal" parts are painted, the glare will be cut down. Seebaran

Ahah! Right, I see the picture now.. looking interesting.. what you said you would do sounds like it will improve things, but I have another question- will you be detailing the cockpit canopy in any way- ie adding support struts etc..?

Thanks guys for the comments and interest. I've updated my site (uh-oh...this might not work) to try and answer some of the comments regarding the canopy. The "support struts" stomseer I believe is refering to are part of the thermoplastic, so will only need to be painted, (probably just lightly drybrushed). These are the "metal" parts I talked about in earlier posts. On the site, note how the canopy translucency looks different because of the light reflection on these struts - I think it affects the autofocus of my camera. Best of luck in trying to view the pics. http://www.geocities.com/andrewseebaran/warlord.html Thanks, seebaran Go Canucks!

Great, those new pics give us a better idea of what it will be like- I see the struts now, and it seems as if it will look rather good; how will you be doing the cockpit interior Seebaran, (apart from white)- any control panels etc?

I won't be putting in any panels, etc... I think these might be distracting, and the figure might get lost in the detail. Instead, having a high constrast with a white interior and dark figure should empasize the titan's pilot. I have a question: I'm trying to paint the struts on some of my "draft" canopies, and finding it very difficult. It looks sloppy, and too "freehand". I'm currently using water based acrylics. Drybrushing does not yield a good result. Masking and airbrushing I think might be too difficult. So far, the best results have been obtained with running a soft pencil over the struts, and then spraying with clear fixative. Any other suggestions? Seebaran

...From my days of making Airfix models and doing my Eldar grav-tanks from a while ago, I think the only solutition is really a very steady hand, a fine paintbrush, and a lot of care and patience!! .....sorry I can't be any more help tho..

other options include
using an ink pen and paint is one possibility, though requires a careful hand
another Airfix Kit idea, put some sellotape (sticky tape) on a metal surface (in other one you can pull it off and you don't mind marking)
paint the tape the colour required
slice the tape using a knife and metal rule into very thin strips which you can then use these strips to represent the canopy struts
