I’m not sure if dis is da right place to post dis, but here goes nofing. I want to share dis here as dis is a great group of Gitz. Of late he’s been fly-in about and putting a pretty good Krump-in on dem ova Space Gits. So get dis, Da Boss comes down to me Mek Shak and says “More…….” Sure Boss (me thinking I’z gotz dis) Big Wagons? Gun Wagons? What-cha want-in Boss? He den raises his big fist and points towards da roof. Den in dat voice dat no grot wants ta hear he grumbles where’s me Ships……… Ships? Ya useless Git, you said tanks (me thinking to me self. I didn’t make it this far by being dim you see…………….) “SHIPS!” he says again. Now I know real well when da Boss says some fing twice it’s usually big trouble fer someone. (I jump up and out of boot rage; frantically pointing at drawings up on da wall.) Like dis Boss, what about dis one? He gives me dis hard look that lasts a squigs life den he says, “Yup, SHIPS………………………… And lotz of doze flyers too!” Sure fing Masta. I already gotz it go-in on. I say ( in me best confident voice, although it’s hard to sound big when yer leaking yourself).



So I’z been working on da re-fits fer da “Jabber Nak”. Da Gob has been a bit of tail chasing. I’m liking dis wun so far, but I’z finking dat I may do another run at it. It’s ok, but not there. I still needs ta take a few more runs an add a few more levels it’s at about 40% in dis pic. Da good news is it’s magnetized so swapping it is not a big issue. Hmmmmmmmmm time will tell.



Although it does look kind of nice and toofy. I needs ta clean up a few of dem teef, but it could work me finks. Da Boss is a bit particular about Gobs. It’s got ta be a good un fer sure.



Den dare is da Savages. Day is pretty raw at dis point, but I’z gotz me a basic outline. Da Boss wanted dem all grinda and smashy like. I’z building engines n pipes an finking about top decks n grubbins. Day is gonna be fun me finks.



Dis is one idea see. I used a top deck from me Bad Moon Brute juz to get a feel fer scale. I don’t fink me engine piece wif exhausts is gonna work as da pipes is a bit weedy. Da fun part is da finking aboutz it. What will you be big fish? Ok den I gotz to go gets somefing. I’z gonna be right back. Don’t move about too much as da Boss might hear ya an dat would be bad.

Ok den. So I’z working away smiling an talking to me self. Fly Boyz da Boss says. I can do dat me finks. I too saw “Deff Skwadron” and got all excited like. So I start building dreaming of filling da sky wif fighta bommas like a Rippa Squig swarm!





Day is a smidge big, but not too bad me finks. Fiddly lil fings day is. I’z got 8 different types and plan on making different weapon loads fer each one. Time consuming like putting studs on me leather jacket like when I was a wee grot!



Da good news I’z gotz lotz of dem. We’z gonna swarm when I’z done! Now da problem is I needs ta make weapon loads and paint dem. What did I do to me self. I guess dat’s a heap betta dan deal-in wif Da Big Boss’s bad side.





Speaking of Da big Boss’s bad side (ever eat Grot Stew? It’s not bad unless yer on da ingredient list. Den it may not be too bad either as long as yer eating hole isn’t cooked up yet; dat is.) At any rate I wanted to make sure I stay in good likings so I threw in some Assault Boats fer good mesure. I know I’m going to need a heap of Fighta bomas, but I’m not sure how many Assault Boats I’m gonna need. Any ideas, as I know there are far more experienced players on dis list dan dis Grot. Wow! They are all terrific. Looking at the Jabba nak I can't help thinking of a 40k remake of moonraker ! :-)

Nice to see a bit of green in these days of digital creation. Huge amount of character. Get some painted up!

Moonraker in space, perhaps I should change DA Jabber Naks name! Ummmmm ya rolling old school wif da green stuff. It's all I have right now. I'm planning on jumping on a laptop and moving into digital. I believe it's the future, it kind of sucks because my green skills are just getting to a point where I feel pretty good about it, now I need to learn a new medium. Ahhhhhhh such is the way of things I guess. I plan on painting soon, I worry a bit how they will look with paint. I worry all of my imperfections will jump out at me. Ummmmmmm can't wait to cast some of these up Brother Blind. I thought about you are I was building them. I kept making sounds of Strike Kroosers blowing up as dey was swarmed by me Deff Skwadron! Personally I say stick with green stuffing also, 3d printing is expensive compared to greenstuff. And your skills are pretty solid. Keep them up and they improve farther which is good because you make amazing miniatures already.

Hey Blind, ya I don't intend to drop ol school craft, but one can't help but want to play with digital. I see tons of amazing stuff and well I want to play too! Thanks for the kind words in regards to me builds, and yes better will be better I'm excited about the prospect.

Now me jaw hits da ground see as Dis Mek gotz some mad skills. As I’m looking I see his build of “Da Dakka Moon” (about half way down either page, although his other stuff is juz as cool). I know I wantz it, but can’t figure out how ta steals it. So I hit me desk and set out to build me own (wif me own twist). I rub me fingers together finking Da Boss is gonna love dis……………



So wif some welding, hammering and a bit of da looting………………. Then I sit back and takes a peek. Den I beat me ead like a one eyed Rippa Squig in a cactus patch. It’s juz nots right (Ooooo da pain, it hurtz us). It’s too weedy, see. I know Iz gotz ta add more layers, but as a base it’s juz not gonna work dis way……………..



Da moral to da story? Well don’t be afraid to cut, add or rebuild yer work. So Iz sets out ta make it more propa. I start cutting plates and a gluing. I gotz dis vision see, I knows what I wants it ta be and Iz know what da Big Boss will like. So it’s hard but I dos it anyhow.



Ahhhhhhhh dats more betta I finks. Now it gotz more meat. So next I’z gonna give it da green treatment an start adding some grubbins!



Now it’s starting ta take shape. I gotz me Big Gun Shaks in place. I had to make da bit removable as it’s really hard to work in dat space. I added da main thrusters and well me starting to likes it. Iz gots some card in place ta represent da prow. Now me assistances is a saying dat dey don’t fink day likes da prow. Useless Gits me finks as what kind of propra Ork doesn’t like a big prow? Ahhhhhhhhh too much to fink about. Ya see being wrong round these parts can cost ya a limb so ya know it’s gotz ta be right before da Big Boss gets a peek at yer work. Ok I’ll gets back tad a Prow latter. Iz got ova fings to fink about………….



So I works on Da Big gun shaks, and build me some shootas. I den decide I’z going to give Da Boss da option to either call dis a Terror Ship or a Kill Krooser. Da Boss likes is options see. So I set out to be able to replace da big shoota wif a Zap Gun. Ooooooooo da Boss is gonna like dis. Me plan is to build some magnetized pieces fer da sides. Dis way e can arm it wif heavy guns or launch bays. I’m saving da prow fer when I gets further along. Lots of work needs ta be done, but we’z gotz a Krooser coming on line. I struggled fer a name as I didn’t want to loot mousemuffins “Dakka Moon” name. I’z a low crawl in Git, but not that low. Sooooooooooo I decided to calls it “Da Dakka Town”. A big thanks to Mousemuffins because his creation inspired dis Git ta build and if all goes right Da Big Boss will hook me up. Shoot I may even get a slave or two ta play wif out of dis ere build!
