The fact that it has been used for years isnt justification for bringing it across.

I get that there are a whole range of considerations that go into the list design to use it effectively. I just think of all the changes it has the least justification to be implemented.

All Sounds good. Typhoon 25 each for the first 2 and 50 each for 3-5? Am I understanding that right? Or..?

Ahh, I meant that you can buy up to 2 for 25 points total - so you pay 225 for 4 MW and 1 Typhoon or 3MW and 2 Typhoons. If you buy 3-5 its 250 points total. Not the best wording I've put in :D I'm trying to work out a better way to do so. Any ideas would be good.

Saying 10 each gets rid of all the problems and is the same costing...

Correct, didn't say it was. I pointed it out because your assertion was that is gave an unfair power boost.

I think it is a too dramatic Change to the list that unfairly advantages marine players against specific lists.

Fairy snuff you don't think it is justified with your other points, but I haven't seen or heard anything about an unfair edge in peoples experiences.

The 0-1 warhounds bothers me. Perhaps a limitation by points, because one warhound in 1000 points is much different to one warhound in 5000 points.

That and I have eight of the things, and am going to get REALLY ticked off if I can't use them at all unless I play AMTL or 'guard armies.

0-1 Warhound singletons. The others can be taken in packs of 2.

Spot on Rug, though I would note that a LC is probably also required to be fully 'flexible', which adds further list constraints.

Well it is when its been used for years with no problems and is fitting with the fluff.

Where does the fluff support a space marine surveying the battlefield and then jumping back in his space craft to attack via drop pod?
I know it causes additional considerations. That doesn't make it balanced or necessary. If you want to play epic uk treeless then play them. Don't just transfer them to the net ea rules because you are the only ones still willing to listen to the rubbish that Goes on in taccomds.

Also the eldar can see the future... so why do they fight? Shouldn't they be an auto win if they turn up?

Sorry guys. Someone is going to have to explain the rationale for ST other than just because.
You don't want to make any decent actual changes to the list. No new units. No price increases. No price decreases. No new fliers... but rehash ST... This doesn't make any sense.

the fluff supports it in that marines are a rapid redeployment force, they can move their forces around faster and more effectively than almost anyone else.... damn straight they're going be able to pick the right tools and weaponry for the job right before the battle....

Also, I suggest watching your tone if you want anything you say to be taken seriously.... phrases like 'the rubbish that goes on in taccomms' are broad and sweeping and generally offensive to everyone who is giving up their time to develop lists for others to use, have at least a modicum of respect for those efforts, even if you don't agree with the outcomes

Yeah, makes it hard to have a discussion when people shut down the ideas of other on price tweaks without considering them.

No idea what you're talking about here, nobody involved with EUK has pushed any of the changes. I've never pushed or pressured Dobbsy or any other AC to follow EUK.

Nobody has said no changes, just no massive list changing changes to solve non-emergency problems (120cm whilwinds). If anybody has shutdown minor points changes it's you as apoc has posted.

Fluff wise it seems very fitting to me as the SM assessing the situation from space

So no explanation then?
That's not all I said apoc.

And I fully support dobbsy. His job is difficult to balance.
