My list is:

Revenant
Falcons (Spirit Stones)
Mounted Guardians

Hoping the tournament goes better than list testing...3 activations has seemed to be a significant disadvantage.

This is the titan one anyway:

What do you think?

Actually the traffic in London on Sundays can be pretty bad you know ;)

Hey all,

Just so there is no confusion: everything inside the current compendium is allowed. Please don't worry about the status of a list.

The whole idea of Minigeddon and BOTT is to get together, roll dice and have fun! And i am sure everybody can handle a little ass-kickery. ;)

And like it has been mentioned already, the best way to find out if something is a bit too good is to play it. If things get really ugly we can adjust next year.

Quote:
I do recall though that there was surprise at what could be wrong with allowing AMTL last year until i'd pointed out that 18 macro shots on turn 1 from 3 warhounds isn't very nice...

The AMTL list discussion was a bit of a misfire last year.
The list is legal but unusable due to the mandatory Warlord titan. There has been no Minigeddon fix yet.
When we testet a three Warhounds army we made use of various weapon loadouts but missed the new Plasma Cannon profile. If a simple Minigeddon fix can be achieved remains to be seen.

--------

As a side note and in the unlikely case (...touch wood...) that we end up with an uneven number of players, i will amuse/terrorize you all with the following. ;D

Death Korps of Hoth

- DEATH RIDER COMPANY [325]
12 Death Korps Rough Rider units

- SUPER-HEAVY TANK PLATOON [200]
Baneblade, Kommissar

- SUPER-HEAVY TANK PLATOON [200]
Baneblade, Kommissar

- WARHOUND TITAN [275]

---------

On a different note, so far I am missing 3 lists.

Yet to submit a list:

- Matthew Arnold
- Christopher Blake
- Chris Hayes

Please send in your army as soon as possible!
Apologies if you sent in your list already, in that case i would kindly ask you to send it again to the email address provided.

-------

Have been busy updating and printing the result and best army slips today.
Fixed last years missing turn tick box. :)

MrGonzo if you'll remember Matt Arnold won't be coming (unless something has changed since I saw him last) so I doubt he'll be sending a list...

Well, he hasn't officially canceled his registration and hasn't replied negative to my mail i have sent him...

Would be nice if he takes the time to let us know he's not making it.

What do you think?

If you recall last year I brought 1 revenant, jetbikes and shining spears. Don't think having 1 extra revenant at the cost of the exarchs is unbalanced. An opponent would have AP targets on your side of the table and minigeddon is usually all about the assaults which your list is not that good at.

Yep pretty much what I thought, I expect an engagement meta

My impression of at least 50% games of minigeddon (might be wrong):
Turn 1 - manoeuvre into position, some fire is traded which might break smaller/vulnerable fms
Turn 2 - one or more big assaults happening near the middle of the board, which necessarily must involve the BTS as it's too important to leave out (usually 35% to 40% of an army's total cost, opposed to 20% or less in a 3k game)
Turn 3 - race around to catch objectives, break fms holding objectives, kill off remaining units to get BTS, perhaps one more assault to achieve those goals instead of shooting
