Ok, pardon the terrible pun in the topic description - but just what is a Nicissar dhow? They look like nice and friendly little BFG tugboats on Specialist Games' website (pic of the day). A dhow is an Arabic sailing craft, so what should these be? Rogue Trader stuff from BFG mag?

They are used with the Tau fleet- I think they attach to the gravity hooks on the large Tau ships; rules are in BFG Mag 19...

Nice little sweeties!!! Different and appealing!
The dows are very maneuvrable (180? turns),
and the looks support this.
They also have broadside (l/r) weaponry...

The Tau fleet list utilises a number of allied races such as Kroot and Demiurg. The Tau have no psykers, and no psychic sense and this makes warp navigation and space navigation in general almost impossible. The Nicassar provide this service.

I dont know what they look like. As far as I know, there are no pictures of them around yet.

There are.
