So much ego in this thread.

I am more interested in seeing what feedback comes in over the next days in terms of what was great and what could be done better next time to allow the next TO to provide an even better event & experience.

On a side note, can't wait to see pictures of the event and tables (other then army lists)!

If there is only criticism of an event, you won't see another. We're all volunteers, here. And EEC 1 was an event worthy of praise IMO.

Yes it was a great event when everything was put together!

I had some very enjoyable games even though I lost most
I thought the time limits were generous, the rule that you could always finish your current turn was great. I was able to finish all my games, which is not something I always do at tournaments.

Things I'd like to see in a future event would be to have a swiss system in place. I think that makes for a even more fun tournament for most players. It would have been appropriate and fun to watch Brumbaer and Richard face of in the final round (both had 4 wins), for a grand finale to singles part of the tournament.

I have a question for those who came by plane. Did someone of you put miniatures in the hand luggage and was it a problem?

All the UK players carried their armies as hand luggage with no problems or x ray queries
