Two exciting news, folks!

First, we reached 50% pre-registered tickets with more then 1 1/2 months left till the event!
It makes us happy to see players returning as well as new names joining the fun.

Secondly, we are very proud to announce that the fine gentlemen over at Pyrköl in Portugal are supporting our tournament with a their top-notch acrylic game markers!
They very generously provided us with prize support for the top 3 players and something special to be revealed at the event.
Sets include blast marker, shield marker, damage marker, blast templates and more!

Here's also a small impression from last years event for all who missed it!
Since then, the nice folks of the Escape have painted the whole room white, a great improvement over the chaotic Golden Throne inspired paint scheme, haha



Our club is also working hard to provide all-new terrain for this years BOTT!
Last year focused on tournament friendly playability, while this year we are throwing in a good chunk of 'look' to create an even better gaming experience for all players.

The whole idea behind Battle of the Thames is to provide an entry point level event and 'something different' for veterans.
The Minigeddon format also shakes up the metagame a bit. Though, the Emperor's tarot predicts many pointy ears again.

I have signed up for this but have never actually played E:A before. I have played earlier versions many years ago. I will read the rules but will probably be a bit clueless about the tactical aspects. I'm just getting some IG painted. Looking forward to it.

I'll have to ask th TO soon about what else I need to bring

Are the Central Wargames Club going to have Epic intro evenings beforehand for the newbies? If so on what night (I might be tempted to pop down myself)?

We at Clapham Wargamers are playing Minigeddon on Thursday nights and anyone is welcome to pop down to learn the game (or for more experienced players get practice in).

13 pre-registered players and 19 days left till the 2nd Battle of the Thames!



It makes me personally very happy that we already exceeded last years attendance. Even if just by one.
Hopefully another player steps up and gets us up to an even player count?!

As a little motivation the BOTT team will personally plant a tree for each additional player in the Emperor's garden behind the Imperial palace!
