12 weeks ! I couldn't paint that in 12 months !! You obviously like hoard armies ! Looks great so far, nice conversion work. It'll be interesting watching the army develop - another best painted I reckon ! Those bugs are looking good too. Do let us know if they are "let loose"...

Thanks for all the kind words!

They are from a German company called "Busch". Here is a link to Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Busch-1203-Fern-M ... busch+1203
In Germany the cost abot 7 Euros and contain 20 ferns. This is somewhat misleading since I only use half the possible amount of leaves per Epic-scale fern. I think you get about 30 ferns from the package.
I just started the third pack so far and used a bunch of these on my Warcraft 3 Nightelves Theme Army back in my Warhammer Tourney days.

There will be an anourmous mushroom field in the future due to them sold as a pack only :D

Cool, what are they made out of? Thin plastic?

Edit: lol, Railroad people are weird:

That really made my morning! And I thought railroad people had no sense of humor...

They are made from plastic, yes. There is another miniature railroad company called Noch, but apparently, their stuff is made from paper. You should wash these though, even foundation paint doesn't stick to it very well.

I painted some stuff, but it is far from finished. It still needs campaign markings, vehicle identification numbers, the Armored Otter Transports still need their company marking, weathering is missing... sigh.

Also, which campaing badge for the army should I take?

More pictures after the European Championship, promised!
