Hi all,
Im wondering if there is any reason that the Tau Pathfinders dont have the option of being on foot (without garrisoning)?
Id quite like to see them on foot, with an option to take devilfish transports.
Thoughts?
Steve

They can be taken on foot as an upgrade to a firewarrior formation in the Vior'la list. I believe the reason this and foot pathfinder formations are not possible in the general list, is that the ability to airdrop markerlights is seen as too powerful, or at least too unbalancing, to break up an approved list for.

Originally in 40k Pathfinders always came with Devilish transports and couldn't be on their own.
The newest 40k Tau codex had now dropped this requirement, but the epic list still reflects the old way. I suggested the possibility of changing it some while ago too, but Yme wasn't keen.
