I'll stick a bunch of stuff in the back of the car and see what we can organise then :) The one plus side of driving up there solo is that there is plenty of boot space at least ;)

Interesting - that's a lot of Vampire Hunters! I was expecting at least one more unit of falcons though rather than all those fire prisms (although granted the lance element is useful)

Here's my list (sadly a bit lite on AA due to the rather poor options available to the DKoK)

Regimental HQ w. Gorgons
Infantry Company w. Gorgons
Infantry Company w. Gorgons
Death Rider Company
Tank Platoon
Shadowsword
Shadowsword
Support Battery
Flak Battery
Thunderbolt Fighters

Warhound Titan

It comes down to whether I want to repaint models or buy some more to increase my Falcon/Firestorm numbers. The problem with having lists painted up to specific Craftworlds.

True - i've just stuck to the same colour for each sub-list i've tried. It's not ideal, but with a limited number of models (and new ones being difficult to source at times) it's the best option i've got really.

And Tim is taking a Cobra!!! Well you know my thoughts on them. :D
Sadly Tim is the one person I am not playing, so I will have to wait to see how he does with it.

I should be there around 15:00 or 15:30. I'll bring along a small Troll army if anyone wants a game of Warmachine.

Fairly basic Codex Astartes Marine army for me.

Double Revenant joy from Ginger. (I'm almost glad we're not playing now as that is potentially scary.)

Well the other option I had thought of was a variation on my pop-corn army with 3x Phoenix, Void Spinner and 3x Night Spinners, and a further 10 activations including 2x Vampires. As I explained to Dave, this was to check my assertion that the Phoenix bombers new cost of 300 was a bit low. But I suspect this would be more 'drawish' both because of the high activation numbers and the tendency for people to try to hide from all that firepower.

Well my Cobra is currently on the up as it managed to take out a Ravager titan over two turns in my last game.

I tend to have poor luck with Phoenix Bombers, they rarely hit and seem to have no armour. However I agree that they are a very good choice in the list at the moment.

Interesting list! What are you going for Aspect wise? standard combo of fire dragons, dark reapers and suchlike?

I'm becoming a fan of Howling Banshees. Haven't really worked in the games that I've used them but their EUK stats and the fact that DaveT has used them are big pluses for me.

Hmmm, I fear the speculation on my mid-table placing may need to be revised.

I'm taking what can best be described as a themed list. Namely, the Dark Angels First Company (just to be clear, they're all painted red):

450 [350+100] Deathwing + Supreme Commander <BTS>
400 [350+50] Deathwing + Captain
400 [350+50] Deathwing + Chaplain
400 [350+50] Deathwing + chaplain
350 Deathwing
200 Thunderhawk
200 Thunderhawk
200 Thunderhawk
200 Thunderhawk
200 Thunderhawk
400 [250+50+100] Devastator + Librarian + 2 Dreadnoughts
400 [250+50+100] Devastator + Librarian + 2 Dreadnoughts
200 Strike Cruiser

Think of this list as me trying to prove dreadnoughts are worth adding... I'm hoping for a repeat of the vindicator experiment (Britcon 2011).
