Finally home and settled, I'm breaking out the paints and brushes again and preparing to burn away many happy nights painting some of my collection of various 6mm minis. Hence this thread. I'm planning on starting with some Hawk Lords Space Marines, but with Orks and Guard to do as well (and very little by way of focus) the actual minis on display are highly likely to be all over the place.

As stuff is done, I'll add pictures (I know, I know, what's the point of a painting thread without pictures to start with), but for now I wanted to start with a poll:

Among the minis I want to start painting with are a couple older-style Reaver and Warhound titans. Unfortunately, I can't decide upon a colour scheme for them so I figured I'd just go ahead and see if I can get other people (you lot) to make the choice for me. Please do vote!

Titans like all combat machines should be in tactical/camo colors ... I've always said that and will continue to do so ... 8)

Those are four good choices. I personally would shy away from the two white schemes, because white is difficult for me to do a good job on. I say go with black. I know I've seen a good number of red Titans, but I don't recall seeing that many black ones.

Hi!

I went with white and gold trim. That would look good. :)

I vote for 'no gold trim'. I'm just not a fan. I like the other colour choices though, so don't feel the need to specify.

Yeah, they look good in reality, but not as great on minis somehow. I like pastel trims, or unusual coloured trims. Not a big fan of primary colours, unless it's red.
