If I'm really honest, I don't really care for the cannon-carrying mutant beast thing. The desert fighters (PLEASE don't call them "Jihadis") are great in concept and I'd really love to see infantry or "unmounted" weapon teams, but I don't really like them mounted quad-bikes and the larger six-wheeler looks too heavy for a light vehicle but too light to be a really armoured vehicle. I'd like the quads lighter/bare framed (or on two wheelers) and the heavy weapon vehicle less of a compromise between heavy or light.

Great detail, just not my cup of tea currently. Looking forward to further concepts. :)

Vehicles and Weapons Team look good, deployed variant might be more popular however.


Z, not feeling the Eloi thing, and it seems most aren't either. So far everything fits well into a Grim Dark universe, I think its the best approach to take with the line personally. But everything is up to you and E&C, I would hope that with each Indie Campaign your raised amount is greater each time.

Not a fan of the term "jihadists" ... Insurgents, Partisans, Irregulars, Guerillas, Revolutionaries, Tribes, Sects, Survivalists, etc. ... could work for me ... 8)

The creatures are about as close to other designs as they can legally go; it's not a generic design like "space soldiers" that can be safely replicated.

I'm going to rejig the gun, but you can expect exact copies of t other lines.

Sorry if I hit a sore spot Zombo. I'm pretty sure noone wants Troublemaker to get into Trouble; I know I don't.

I'm thinking perhaps you could rethink the whole living artillery idea? The beetles farting bullets idea isn't bad, or perhaps a living catapult throwing scorpions, Valérian and Laureline style?

I love all your work so far, but out of the GW Tyranid concept, the Biovore phenotype was always the one that looked the most strange to me. It has always looked strangely out of sorts, and I never bought the Ork genome story that tagged along. Orks and artillery? It was always a Tyranid light artillery, since they needed it. You could have a lot more fun coming up with all manners of living alien artillery that I would consider worth buying instead. Why stay close to something fugly anyway.

Otherwise, keep up the good work, but for your alien Eloi concept, I would try to raise the bar and come up with something more surprising. I understand they are masters at organic construction. Modular organisms? Sockets and joints for heads/legs/arms/guns/tentacles/hooks/claws.

Cheers, now get those weird birdies up on your store and I'll throw some more money over the channel.

Either go for that, or something more akin to enslaved creatures to what the Dark Eldar in 40k have, like the Talos, Wracks en Grotesques.
