The idea is that the Eloi load them, just using the creature to do the heavy lifting. It is not an organic gun with self generating ammo, but I suppose that with a little green stuff or a clever paint job it could look that way if you wanted. Shrug.

Surely the Eloi technology, being so advanced, would look more fluid and sleek? Some might say organic... :-)
Otherwise, the creature looks great.

I agree that it really doesn't look all that eloi; sorry.
Could be something entirely more primitive.

I'm not making an organic gun, that'd be much too similar to other designs that exist. I can look at reshaping it a little, feel free to make suggestions.

Perhaps provide some sketches of how you envision any changes?

I like it.

....So er...Those quads, will there be deployed versions? I really like the concept of them.

How about, a mobile heavy weapons team mounted on some sort of 6 or 8 wheeled light vehicle, then there wouldn't be the requirement to make a towed and deployed version?

Have a look here - Argo vehicles - http://www.argoatv.com/catalog/hd-model

There is even one with tracks!

Anyway, loving this stuff, cheers.

Yep.

I'm planning on a variety of sand buggies.

Very cool.

Are you thinking of extending the quad idea to the Novan Elites? Maybe they would be a bit bulkier with built in weaponry?

What about that big dune buggy with some transport capability, so that you'd see the troops sitting in it, kinda like this?

Not totally sure on that Eloi creature, it feels too much like a Tyranid to me with an Imperial or Orky weapon strapped to it. If they have such advanced technology, you might wonder why they even bother using such crude means of artillery. What about they simply breed these creature and unload them deep into enemy territory to wreak havoc?

They do that too, with more aggressive species like the one I posted a few pages ago.
