Hi!

Thank YOU for taking the time and posting the pictures. :)

For someone like me whom doesn't get a lot of playing time, being able to enjoy the experience through pictures is much appreciated! :)

Brilliant suff! Thank you Mr Gonzo. Glad you can make it down and looking forward to meeting you on the day.

Excellent! We have 12 players now - from various counties and countries :-)

1 - London
3-Devon
1- Cornwall
1-Worcestershire
3-Surrey
1-Wiltshire
1-Somerset
1-Hanover (awesome!)

Looking good. 8 Tickets remain and 14 days left to buy them (if you count today too).
Have been a bit quiet on the pic updates (and blog updates) lately as just ploughing through the scenery making. Will post new update tonight or tomorrow.

Brilliant! You've given me an idea of what to do for a 'supplementary prize' (that isn't already in the prize list) ;D

12 Days left to buy tickets (if you include today) and send in final army lists (6th July). I'll also send email with a lunch choice to select on 7th July.

Battlefield rough plans below will give a better idea of what to expect on the tables (6 tables so far but more will be added depending on ticket sales). Note, the Hive World table wont have trenches as such, but the trenches themselves will be the buildings (so, like the trenches - troops can start inside the buildings ) these 'trenches' will be in addition to the existing buildings already in the 'No Mans Land' area.

All of the tables will have between 2-3 gaps between the 6ft line of trenches to allow war machines/vehicles to pass through.

Remember, 12 days to get lists in :0) Pm me and I'll send you my email. Alternatively, you may already have this from when you bought your Paypal ticket.

Now the 2 week countdown till Exeter Entrenchment begins....

On Friday night (darn its Friday already...must sleeep!) I'll send out emails to everyone taking part. This will be the email to send your army lists in to. Once your army list has been sent in and checked (and confirmed in follow up email) I'lll confirm your chosen army faction against your name in the first post of this thread.

Till then, 10 days left to think about your final army build before the mayhem :0)

8 spaces left..10 days left to book your place!

Awesome stuff! Cheers Monsieur.
Will have a proper look at your list once I get home. Are these the very same (famous/infamous)yellow Orky fellows we've reading about about in previous battle reports?

Looking forward to seeing them 'in person' .

Is there any kind of "after party" planned after the event (aka a trip to the pub) ? Just wondering if I should book a hotel or if I will have time to drive up to Worcester that night?

Hi Blip, sounds a great idea (re gathering after the games) There are two pubs on the same road (though really have no idea what they're like as I live on the other side of Exeter) Will take a while for myself and Richard Deane (fellow Judge on the day) to pack away the boards/scenery in the hall but if you guys make a head start (say to get food etc), we/I could catch up later with the rest of you (p.s centre of Exeter has far better pubs. Best suggestion is: The Imperial (near Exeter St Davids and cloae to University. Very big beer garden, loads of interior room, cheap food and ideal for after battle discussions. Other good places such as Timepiece, Black Horse, Old Timers are around but bo chance of hearing one another as Saturday night and usual volume in them :0)). Could organise something on the fly within the next two weeks. :)

P.s - Email sent out to the twelve of you already in the tournament with important info and stuff. Lunch choices and email address to send army lists to is included.

P.p.s just to let you chaps know that I've got a do on tomorrow so won't be able to log onto the forum. Best send me an email if urgent. Will be able to log back in on Sunday evening though.

Cheers, BB

I can neither confirm nor deny the inclusion of any yellow Orks in my army list...

I will however own up to painting up some units for use at the tourney... ;D
