Cool stuff ! I like seeing the moulds in process, detail from the pics looks good too ;)

What resin are you using if you dont mind me asking, is it a 50/50 mix and do you use a chamber,
only my resin was good at detail and needed no chamber, but downside was the cost of the resin and my last box from the supplier had broken up inside leaving liquid resin everywhere!

regards epic

Lovely stuff. Bought in with my gaming group for a fairly large batch of these, so looking forward to seeing 'em. :)

Once this project is complete, do you have future plans?

I'm using a polyurethane resin from Smooth-On. It's a 50-50 mix, but it requires a pressure chamber and vacuum-degassed molds in order to produce good results.

Once the Kickstarter is all wrapped up, my plan is to begin selling online for those who missed the Kickstarter or who want more. Nothing's set in stone yet, but here's a sneak preview of some of my future ideas:

- Expanding the range of buildings available within the current sizes
- Releasing larger structures to go with the current sizes
- More exotic, alien or uncommon building styles
- More smaller pieces like defenses, storage tanks, generators, etc

Sounds good! Big is good.

I also like that you began moving away from the overly gothic designs, whilst still within the same overall feel. Whatever you do, I hope you continue this to help all of the Grimdark addicts here to become once more open to new design ideals. More classical brutalism! I myself would like to see more proper industry and habitat oriented stuff and no administration stuff, and certainly no cathedrals! ;)

Sad I missed this kickstarter. I'll eagerly await retail release :)

Based on the numbers from the Kickstarter surveys, it looks like the Industrial-style buildings are the most popular pattern. Since they're also one of the most flexible (in terms of games and settings they fit into) that will probably be one of my first stops when it comes to expanding the range. I'd also like to go back and fill in some of the gaps with existing patterns - stuff like upper floor kits in more styles, etc.

In the meantime, I've got plenty to do right now - I just recently received a shipment of plastic for the corner columns on the buildings...over 500 feet of it :o

That is a lot of plastic. Even in the metric system :-)

Wasteland, any option for a DIY city planner? In other words, selling molds of the buildings to allow people to cast their own, using whatever medium they prefer? I kind of think that is a neat way to go when it comes to terrain.

No, not in the cards. I feel that undermines the quality and value of the product.

these are looking really nice, keeping an eye out for more kickstarters or general release in the future

You go AWOL for a few months because your life is turned upsided down and great things like Kickstater Terrain Projects go live and close! Ugh!

Well when the Webstore is up I'll try to get some awesomeness!

I have a non-miniature Kickstarter I've been working....any artists bored?

Don't worry, once I get everything wrapped up for the Kickstarter I'll absolutely be posting about making buildings available to everyone.

@Malika: I saw their notice about that - I'm not actually sure if that impacts what I'm doing. Wax is an important step for metal casting, but since I work in resin I don't think it makes too much of a difference. Interesting that they announced it at the beginning of summer - I'd be afraid of the post guy leaving the box on my front step and my models melting into a plastic bag filled with goo :o

Alright, enough time spent here. Back to the resin mines...

If you look at the material page it doesn't strike me as particularly useful for something like this - for a start it's a small bounding box
