Sorry mate, but I just sold my new pack of SG valkeries on ebay. They went for £40! People are paying crazy prices for stuff these days...

I think my dream of a vanaheim army based on GW models is at an end....

Have you thought about using the forgeworld ones instead? They keep appearing on ebay, sold by some of our Polish neighbours. They just keep finding those handy forgotten about stashes of soldiers at the back of their cupboard (*cough* nock offs *cough*). A pair of either will usually be about £30. How many would you need out of curiosity?

Why not use TMG's VTOL's which are size compatible with SG 's aircraft.

I can't afford FW prices, plus I have some SG ones already, I needed about a dozen valks and 4 vultures to match my existing SG ones, the FW ones are impractically big, the three vanaheim armies I've faced have all been made from FW models and they're massive.... just don't like the scale

if all else fails I'll go with TMG ones.... I wanted to add to my steel legion army so I can field it as Vanaheim

I think with the numbers you need for a vanaheim army, GW models are going to cost you a silly amount. I agree the FW models are too big, it causes problems in-game. The TMG models are relatively close in style but by far the cheapest option is the exodus wars khazari valkyries. Those are what I am using (or will be, rather - none painted so far). You can make enough valkyries, vultures and vendettas for a very flexible army at a fraction of the price.
