still undecided on how I'm going to surface the road as this is the first piece of my modular board.... I've created a border on the base where the building ends and the road starts, so if inspiration comes I'll finish it off this afternoon (entered in anoher forums modelling competition). Currently waiting on a couple of things drying - painted razor wire and the pva gloss layer for the sludge river. When they decide to comply I can go round and tidy up some of the detailing......

Well the first test block is finished, and Ive learned a lot about how Im going to roll this out on a larger scale. I deliberately chose this one as it had a good mix of what I wanted to try out, and Im pretty happy with how it's come together in the past few days.

This is the pic I've submitted as a competition entry elsewhere.



Next step in the project is to batch finish the other 8 blocks I've already built, and start on the next set

Thanks again all - Now I have one complete, I'm hoping to rattle through the next batch fairly quickly. Pretty pleased as I also scored a 2nd place in the competition with it
