So got my box of goodies yesterday and thought I'd do a comparison shot against known models for people to get a feel for them.

First up is the Novan attack flyer next to a FW Thunderbolt. Note that the Gatling gun is being held on to so there's some small extra length.

I was quite excited to see that the flyer was a unibody construction. I'm not a fan of large metal multi-part flyers myself (I much prefer resin to be honest) but these were great! I'd prefer a slightly smaller size (like 15% resize) but not enough an issue to at all spoil my enjoyment.

Next was the novan super heavy mortar. I've scaled it next to a GW 4th edition Land Raider (please excuse the crap paint job-I did that like almost 10 years ago ;D) and to be honest and realistic, I see many uses of these being a replacement to the very OOP ALLCAPS and CAPSLOCK proxies that once were around. They are pretty close though slightly thinner. I plan on using them extensively in my guard.

To to sum up:
Very pleased with this run of products (I think the casting quality is higher than I've seen before) and the designs are excellent and unique though thematically evocative of common sci-fi tropes that many manufactures use. When they are fully in production on the TMG website I will be buying many more!

Here's looking forward to Crowdfunder #3!!

I'm not envious of those who have had their stuff turn up already.

Nope, not one bit...

Sniff...

Yes! Stompy robots for everyone!

Would love to see some type of orbital conveyor and some type of multi-legged spidery drones as well. Something almost Matrix-y.

edit: The crazy stuff you see in the battles at the end of The 2nd Renaissance not the movies mind you.

Any advice for what I could use the Steel Rain Heavy Artillery as?
