Thanks folks.
If the current sections do well I will look at making curved sections too.

Just putting these ones into a mould as I type.

:)

Nice!

Out of curiosity, how did you sculpt/carve/whatever the hexagon tiles? Was it a 3d print of some sort?

I thought about 3D printing, but then that is because everyone seems to be obsessed with it.
So I stopped, and actually thought about what might be the best tool for the job rather than the latest craze..

Then I had a brainwave.
Laser cut MDF.

worked out about 30 times cheaper than 3D printing!

UPDATE.

I am having issues with the rubber curing on many of the roads, about 1 in 2 don't cure.
I have no idea why as the Deema Fields seem to be fine...

So, my plan is to release the 3 sections as rubber and as regular resin.
That way, if you plan carefully you can buy mostly the rigid resin and only buy the rubber for the bits you really need to be bendy.

That will mean you can get the roads and I can sell some stuff.

Not ideal but I guess most players will have flat table tops anyway, and the resin versions have virtually no bubbling and will be a bit cheaper too.

Next week comrades, next week.

(same with the minefields)

I am also getting a Hexway corner made and a large hexway rectangle to use for BUAs.

The stand for the solar panels is in a mould as is the drilling plate for the Shapeways Junker Rig.

Would there be any interest in a set of 9 rocky outcrops for £5.00 if they were available through my site?

The mould for the HexWay BUA.
At 144mm x 96mm, it is just big enough to fit inside an OKI compound with a small gap around the edge.
The BUA, unlike the roads has no sloped kerb.
This is intentional and is to allow you to butt up several BUA sections next to each other.
