Apparently about 8 inches tall -- That's big.
$155 Aus for 1 or for the budget minded $465 Aus for 3.

Bigger than people were estimating. The back detail is nice and looks titan like. If it weren't so big it'd be a great Warlord proxy, but it doesn't really have the aestetic of an Imperator.

8 inches would make it taller than an Imperator even

I think 8 inches is roughly about right for a truescale Imperator though (worked out comparatively from the height descriptions of the various titans - see this). It'd need a LOT of converting though to give it different guns, a castle on top, legs that look like it could carry troops in them, ect.

It DOES look amazing but UK£85 is out of my price bracket. Even with online discount that is still UK£68.
I was hoping would be UK£70, (which would have been UK£56 with online discount).

Just wish we had a de-biggulator to get a detailed 6mm version that looked as good as that.

Cheers

James

amazing model...but yes still more so when GW thinks people want to play epic at this scale, ona 6x4 table nothings hardly moves the whole game....its incredibly boring.

What I would really like to see is a size comparison of the new knight model against a 40K warhound titan, preferably an old armorcast one as well as a FW one

Nice, legs could be a bit bulkier to balance torso but still looks good. Price has put me off considering getting one just to paint up though :D

Yep GW nailed it, though price typical to their business model.
I've been collecting bits over last few years and been working slowly on real scale Imperator (about 20cm height is just right) from legs up but now once I got the funds can convert it, luckily one is more than enough in an army(:
BTW most of you probably know that already but if anyone needs nice 6mm scale Knight proxies one of French Epic gamers made few different types. If you need email contact to him PM me.

Yes for an 8" tall model the price is a bit steep.

Exactly... I really see those as collector items not as usefull playing pieces

well according to GW regarding the topics of price and rules balance they see their models as collector pieces as well. Great model but I've a long list of things I want to buy first before I get around to another GW product.
