those yellow marks on the LR are just fine, i like going a little overboard on that anyways as the silver just by itself can be a little bland with IW. Looks good!

Thanks for the comments guys. The unit will be broken up a bit with a few older marks of LR which are about to be primed.

Regarding mold lines - quality control sucked sometimes at GW, Epic:A leman russ are a good example. I bought a batch from Ebay a few years ago and assumed they were recasts....err no... :{[] That coupled with my general tardiness in preparation.

Next up -more land raiders, different variants to join the previous 4. 1 of them is a great conversion from a fellow board member which I obtained in a trade.

Epic 40k era predator - a very silly model but I love it. Have a couple more to strip.

Iron warrior retinue and terminators also complete - but the phot0s were rubbish. Will try again later.

Very nice indeed. I kind of like that mental looking predator, just keep it on level ground and it wont topple over ;D

bad light..but will take proper shots at weekend with natural light. Model is not fixed to base for gaming reasons.

love this model, was previously seen as imperial guard in my other thread.

thanks Volrath - appreciate comments from a fellow IW fan!

yes, the tank was until last week a loyalist. I dont really use my IG force at the moment and this army needs super heavies. I am trying to resist dropping more stuff from SM and IG into fairy power spray at the moment.

Basing was simple. dry sand plus pva, enough pva so the mix is easy to spread. spoon on to base and your good to go.

The walls were glued to the base before the sand. luckily the mix had just a bit too much pva in so the tank sunk into a bit whilst drying which gives the impression of weight if you look closely enough.

cheers!
